She attended Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2018, and is now a second year primary care resident at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Clinical Informatics Fellow - Stanford University School of Medicine

Arjun Gokhale is a 2011 graduate with a B.A. in computational biology and economics from the College of Arts and Sciences. He attended Washington University School of Medicine and graduated in 2017, and is now a clinical informatics fellow at Stanford University. He has particular interest in mentoring non-traditional students, specifically, those that are considering a gap year (or multiple), have to apply to medical school multiple times, or are not using the Cornell HCEC process to apply to medical school. Cara Harth is a 1994 graduate with a B.S. in biology and society from the College of Human Ecology. Anthony Tadros is a 2006 graduate with a B.A. in Biology from the College of Arts and Sciences. He attended the University of California San Diego School of Medicine and graduated in 2012. He is now an attending interventional radiologist at Premier Radiology in Kalamazoo, MI. He has particular interest in mentoring students that want to pursue a career in interventional radiology, private practice, and students that are transfers (especially from junior colleges). Internist - Mayo Clinic

Nicholas Daniels is a 1988 graduate with a B.A. in biochemistry from the College of Arts and Sciences. He attended the University of Washington School of Medicine and graduated in 1994. He also has a Masters in Public Health from Yale University, and is now an attending internist at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale Arizona. He has particular interest in mentoring students that are first generation, disadvantaged, in the College of Arts and Sciences, and are interested in pursuing a career in primary care or infectious diseases. Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician - NYU Langone Health

Algernon Cargill is a 2005 graduate with a B.A. in biology and society from the College of Arts and Sciences. He attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and graduated in 2009, and is now an attending physician in pediatric emergency medicine at NYU Langone Health. She is now an attending pediatric rheumatologist at Boston Children’s Hospital. Emergency Medicine and Flight Physician - University of Wisconsin

Jason Lai is a 2011 graduate with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a minor in education from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He graduated from Stony Brook University School of Medicine in 2015 and completed residency training at the University of Wisconsin in 2018. He is now an emergency medicine physician in the Madison area and a flight physician with the UW Med Flight helicopter EMS program. He is also involved in medical student education and is a medical school admissions interviewer for the University of Wisconsin. He has particular interest in mentoring students on the pros and cons of a career in medicine as well as ways to prepare a competitive application for medical school acceptance. Nina Clark is a 2013 graduate with a B.S. in human biology, health and society with a minor in spanish from the College of Human Ecology. She attended the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, graduated in 2019, and is now a first year general surgery resident at the University of Washington. NATHAN CONNELL, MD, MPH

Clinical Hematologist and Professor of Medicine - Harvard University Medical School

Nathan Connell is a 2001 graduate with a B.A. in biological sciences from the College of Arts and Sciences. After graduating, he received a masters degree in biomedical sciences from Barry University before attending the University of Miami School of Medicine. After practicing as a clinical hematologist for several years, he received a masters degree from Harvard University in clinical effectiveness. He has now resumed his career in clinical hematology as a physician and professor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Connell has particular interest in mentoring students who identify as being LGBT, however, all students are eligible to receive mentorship from Dr. Connell. David Wirtz is a 1993 graduate with a B.S. in biology and society from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He attended New York Medical College, graduated in 2000, and is now an emergency medicine physician at multiple locations including: Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, also Robert Packer Hospital, Corning Hospital, and at SUNY Upstate. Dr. Wirtz is also the medical director of the Cortland Emergency Department and is a member of the hospital board of trustees. Tania Dempsey is a 1992 graduate with a B.S. in biology with a concentration in neurobiology and behavior from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. She has particular interest in mentoring students that are interested in complex, multisystemic diseases- including Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Dysautonomia, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Autoimmunity, in addition to students interested in Integrative Medicine and private practice. Richard Forest is a 1987 graduate with a B.A. in biology and a minor in history from the College of Arts and Sciences. He attended Tufts University School of Medicine, graduated in 1991, completed residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics, but has practiced for over 25 years as an emergency medicine physician. Although he is not currently involved in research, he does have an interest in research methodology. He practices at Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca and is willing to shadow students or connect them to other physicians at Cayuga Medical Center that are willing to shadow students.
